LAST October, as in 2021, I installed a new hook outside for our garden hose. Previously the hose had either been draped over a lilac shrub or chucked on the ground:
I decided the best place for it would be to the right of our door, around the corner. The hose connector to the house is behind the lilac tree:
I went to Aubuchon Hardware and selected a pretty garden hook, and installed it on the side of the house:
It looks great and blends in like it’s always been there:

Even small projects can make a big difference! Now I must get to raking…

Thanks! It’s not glamorous, but we only use one of those super lightweight extension hoses that get long when they fill with water, but otherwise weigh next to nothing. it’s been great!
