After MONTHS of trying, I’ve finally managed to add a feature to my blog allowing you to scroll through all the photos in each blog post using little arrows. Just click any photo to make it bigger, and you’ll see little arrows letting you scroll left & right. There’s also a “Play” button for starting a slideshow and an “X” button to close the “lightbox” and go back to the blog post. At the bottom of each photo is a description, based on the “ALT TEXT” information I manually enter, and a little note showing how many photos there are in the blog post:
Hooray!!!!!!!!!! For anyone interested, this feature is called a “lightbox”, and there are numerous plugins offering Lightbox functionality for your blog. Woohoo!!!!!!!! I can’t tell you how many hours I’ve wasted trying to figure out how to do this. I mean, “Lightbox”? The only lightbox I know of is the one my tattoo artist uses to trace her patterns. Lightbox isn’t what I would have named this feature, but at least I finally found it. And now I haz scroll arrows!!!!!!!!!!!
If you never click on my photos to make them larger this feature won’t do much for you. But if you’re like me and like to view all pictures LARGE then it will save you lots of clicking time since you’ll no longer have to click them one at a time.
