I promise I will be posting about actual DIY stuff soon! For the past 5 weeks I have been fully engulfed in a manic frenzy of epic proportions to get all my photos from 1987-2015 cataloged and pared down. Here is my final Hawaii post, covering surf lessons, sea turtles & geckos.
Jim and I traveled to Maui, Hawaii last April. I posted about our first 5 days back in May but never got around to posting about the end of our trip. Now that I’ve spent about 40 hours organizing my digital photo collection from 2001-2015, I finally took the time to go through the rest of the Maui photos. Here are the highlights from our 6th & 7th day on the beautiful island of Maui.
After about 40 hours of work, I present you with my FINAL favorite photos project, featuring my favorite pictures from 2011-2015. I deleted over 15,000 digital photos [!!!] from these 5 years. I’ve gotten into the habit lately, particularly since starting this blog, of taking about 20 photos of everything. Over time, that creates a mind-boggling amount of duplicates!
After finishing my photo scanning project, I decided to look through my 15 years of digital photos and post my favorites in 5-year groups. On Thursday I posted my favorites from 2001-2005. Here are my favorites from 2006 through 2010.
I bought my first digital camera in 2001. My recent photo scanning project has gotten me curious to look back through the past 15 years of digital photos. So without further ado, here are my favorite photos from 2001-2005.
Over the past 3 weeks, I’ve scanned > 2,000 photos, > 300 personal documents, and almost 500 pages of a “book” that my high school friend Christyne and I wrote in the late 1980’s. Phew!!! I finished scanning PHOTO ALBUM 4 last week, but got pre-occupied with the other stuff I scanned, so wasn’t ready to publish this post until tonight. Here are my favorite photos from PHOTO ALBUM 4, which covers years 1999-2000.
I scanned PHOTO ALBUM 3 over the weekend, while I was in bed with a nasty cold. Here are my favorite photos from PHOTO ALBUM 3, which covers years 1997-1998 [when I was 26 & 27 years old], including some from my trip to Great Britain in 1998.
